Kindness and caring for your community in an age of performative cruelty and in a culture of individualism and "better them, not me" is punk as fuck.
I say this as someone who has lived in multiple communities with giving walls and stations where you can drop off things you don't need or have extra of and people can come and go and take as you need.
Even if our poor neighborhoods, there were dedicated homes for free food and free clothing (and coats in the winter) and you could just take it.
