Name's Fire, pronouns are she/her, I'm a 19yo trans woman with ADHD. I enjoy programming, reading, watching cartoons, and music is always playing haha. I don't speak any other languages than english, but i am thinking about changing that... or attempting to at least.
I will be talking about code, lgbtq stuff, society's confusing bits, mental health, and likely school at some point.

i've been hyperfixated on the song "Rat" by Penelope Scott since i found it... It's basically a break up song for Elon Musk and other silicon valley scientists we used to idolize... It's amazing.
The way the lyrics roll with the music along with the message behind it has enabled me to listen to it on repeat for the past 24hrs and i'm just vibing.

aaaaa i dislike how normal it is to have a full on conversation about nothing at all. like... HOW? also when i don't the catch cues that it is small talk and answer their "How are you?" question genuinely, I'm the one who's weird???

i really dislike how some people see using your preferred name as a way of being nice... and only use it when you're on good terms with them.

hrt / medicine grumbles
I've been on hrt for almost a year now and i feel like the effects just aren't happening. Like breast growth stopped a few months in and i just haven't noticed anything more in that area. I know it comes down to genetics at the end and i should appreciate what i got but this is barely an A cup.
I just... want to make sure i pass in public. :/
Back in 2012, reputed computer game journalist and eyebrow haver Jeff Gerstmann mentioned an idea that i often think about.
He said he wanted to see a mod in Skyrim which adds golf. Same game, same skyrim and enemies but now the map is also a giant golf course.
And.. im continually floored what an amazing idea that is, and it could equally be applied to other games with physics engines. Like consider Half Life 2, same story but as you progress through the game its also a golf course.
does anyone else just have a word they say at random moments throughout the day.
my word is 'chicken', i'm not even a huge fan of the food... but phonetically, it's wonderful and brings me joy.
