my family gave me all sorts of grief over coming out as intersex. then out came the stories about this uncle, and that uncle. i was like "you know you're describing intersex bodies to me here, right?"
but that was the end of that, because silence makes the pain go away amirite? /s sighs
@perchingpath when I found out my grandpa was bi or possibly gay and had hidden and been ashamed of it his whole life because he was a prominent figure in his conservative religious community things started to make a little more sense
