What happens when a Mastodon instance is revived without backups, specifically from the POV of someone who follows people on that instance?

@seb_ly I constantly type "requite" instead of "require" in Node. I think it should be accepted, it'd work semantically and make the language much sweeter.

If you type the module name wrong it should give an unrequited need error.

- We're planning to put the instance on a more trustworthy host and set up a dedicated Patreon for the instance (partly to help with the inevitably higher hosting costs).

- We're gonna have a much clearer and more detailed rules so people know what kinds of things are and aren't okay and to help prospective users know what kinds of moderation issues we're aware of. (I'll share the draft on our Discord so everyone can take a peek and we can discuss it)

Some more information on what we know has happened so far:

- Our host (Scaleway) is saying that the server failure a hardware error on their end.

- Our mailgun account was shut down for spam at the same time this hardware failure happened because it's credentials were compromised by an unknown entity. Mykola is still not sure how that happened atm. Maybe it was a separate, unrelated incident but it doesn't seem right.

Mykola is still in email correspondence because everything is still not clear, and Scaleway aren't really answering questions.

Okay, so Mykola has issued a support ticket with the host, and we won't know for sure what's going to happen until then. It also means we can't resume service for the meantime.
